CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS 2026

Please read the following letter while you are waiting:

Congratulations to all of you who tried out this year. There are a few things that I would like for you to remember:

A competition such as this one is just the way that a certain set of judges sees a certain set of applicants on a certain day. If any of the variables were changed, the outcome, in some way, would be different.

The most important thing is this:

THE TRUE WORTH OF AN INDIVIDUAL AS A CHEERLEADER OR JUST AS A PERSON IS NOT MEASURED BY WINNING AN AWARD, A TROPHY, OR A SPOT ON A SPORTS TEAM.

If you tried out this year and did not make it, don’t give up! Use this to your advantage because you now know what to expect at next year’s tryouts. You have an entire year to prepare for next time. If you need to work on your technique, start now! If jumps need to be improved, work on those now. If your teacher evaluations need to be improved, start working on making those better for next year. Only YOU can improve these things.

If you are a senior and you did not make it, focus on the future and on the journey that you will soon begin as you prepare to graduate from high school and move forward into one of the most exciting times of your life!

We are proud of each of you and wish you always the best.

We have enjoyed spending this time with you and we love you all.
